Employee / Dispatcher Export Logistics

Your tasks

  • Relationship-related processing of sea and air transportation and European land transportation (trucks)
  • Preparation of the necessary shipping and customs documents (ABD, UZ, ATR etc.)
  • Processing outgoing national shipments to our customers
  • Control of delivery dates
  • Calculation, control and account assignment of transportation costs
  • Elimination of recurring disruptions in the logistics chain, technical assistance and cost-neutral optimization
  • Independent, autonomous handling of outbound logistics processing in the assigned area of responsibility
  • Selection of suitable service providers
  • Taking on projects relating to transportation management
 

Your competencies

  • Completed commercial training, ideally in freight forwarding, wholesale and foreign trade or industry
  • Relevant experience in dispatching all modes of transport, with a focus on sea transport (export) and (inter)national overland truck transport
  • Very good, up-to-date knowledge of dangerous goods and foreign trade regulations
  • Independent, autonomous and team-oriented working style
  • Good knowledge of English
  • Confident handling of common MS Office applications 
  • SAP R/3 knowledge desirable
